Essential Email Deliverability Update for Business Owners: Action Required!

A vital update that needs your attention, especially if email marketing is part of your business strategy.

What's Changing with Google and Yahoo Email Delivery?

Starting February, Google and Yahoo are tightening the reins on email deliverability. If your business sends out email campaigns of 5000 or more emails at a time you must ensure that your email domain is authenticated.

Why is this important?

This authentication is like a digital handshake between your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and your email domain—it's your business's online address. Without this, your meticulously crafted emails could end up in the spam folder, unseen by your customers.

What you need to do?

The technical side involves adding a script to your domain. For those using platforms like ActiveCampaign, it’s a matter of a few clicks:

Navigate to 'Settings' and select 'Advanced'.

Look for 'Authentication' options.

Change the default setting to manage your email authentication.

And then Add the given pieces of code to your email domain (DNS). If this seems daunting or you're not familiar  with DNS , don't worry your web developer can handle it. Just forward them the information.

ActiveCampaign Email Authentication

The bottom line

Act before February to ensure your email campaigns continue to land in your customers' inboxes.
